The TTNA Annual Conference – 2012 will focus on new technologies and innovations that will generate product and market opportunities for the technical and nonwoven textiles industry in the future. As the global market is looking for lighter textiles with greater functionality and products that use fewer inputs both to defray costs and for better environmental outcomes, it will feature papers with a focus on future trends in natural and man-made fibres and textile, research, development and innovation and end-use applications. It will provide participants with a more informed perspective on the global fibre and textile industry and the societal and scientific challenges and opportunities in the field of fibre and textile science, engineering, and technology and the emerging themes of sustainability, social accountability and biodegradability.
Visions for Fibre & Textiles will be held on Wednesday 18th April 2012 at the Melbourne Zoo. We urge you to take the time to diarise this event and look forward to seeing you in April.
