The Call for Papers for Visions for Fibre & Textiles 2012 is open.
The Technical Textiles and Nonwoven Association welcome papers and presentations at its forthcoming conference. Educate your peers, share ideas, and help shape the future of the industry as end-users seek greater functionality and cost effective solutions in the fibre and textile arena.
Submissions close Friday 16th March 2012.
After reading the below information, please submit your paper as directed at bottom of page.
Topics that are being sought (but not limited to) are as follows:
- Future trends in natural and man-made fibres and textiles
- Research, development and innovation in fibre and textile development and end-use applications
- Opportunities in the scientific field of fibre and textiles
- New technologies applied to the production of fibres and textiles
- Sustainability, social accountability and biodegradability of fibres and textiles
Your submission should include the following:
- Title of Paper
- Author of Paper
- Speaker’s name/position/organisation
- Speaker email address/telephone
- Resume of Speaker (100 words or less)
The Submission and Review Process
All submissions are reviewed by a committee of experts. After your paper has been submitted a representative of the review committee will communicate with the author within one week of receipt as to whether the paper has been accepted, including any necessary revision requests. Please also observe the following speaker policies.
I agree that if my Paper is accepted:
- I (or a co-author) will attend Visions for Fibre & Textiles Conference 2012 to present the paper
The conference will be held at the Melbourne Zoo, Parkville, Victoria on Wednesday 18th April 2012. In appreciation for presenting, the presenter will receive a 50% discount to the full conference, including the conference dinner
- I have my company’s permission to participate in Visions for Fibres and Textiles Conference 2012 as a speaker
- I will observe all deadlines for submitting materials
- My presentation will be non-commercial
- I will help TTNA market my participation in the conference to personal colleagues and contacts
- Any marketing collateral pieces must be approved by the TTNA committee before being distributed at the conference
- I certify that all material included in my presentation is original and does not interfere with any copyrights. If I have used material belonging to others, I have obtained appropriate permission to do so
- I understand that permission will be sought from TTNA as to whether my presentation will be made available to post online and distributed to conference attendees
